Option 1: Instant Authentication (Recommended)

  1. When prompted by the Plaid window (modal), select your financial institution.

  1. If you do not see your institution, scroll to the bottom of the popup to add it.

  1. Log in using your online banking username and password.

  1. Once authenticated, your account will be instantly connected.

✅ This is the fastest and easiest way to connect your preferred bank account.

Note: Instant authentication requires you to have online banking credentials for your financial institution.

Option 2: Connect Using Micro-Deposits

If you don’t have online banking credentials or your financial institution doesn’t support instant authentication:

  1. In the Plaid window, scroll down and click “Link with account numbers.”

  1. Enter your routing number, account number, and select your account type (checking or savings).

  1. Plaid will send two small random deposits (for example, $0.02 and $0.13) to your account within 1–2 business days.

  1. After receiving the deposits:

  • Return to the Plaid window in MyCarrier.

  • Enter the exact deposit amounts to verify your account.

✅ Once confirmed, your bank account will be securely linked.

Tip: Some financial institutions support same-day micro-deposits, so check your account frequently for faster verification.
