What is Outbound Collect?
Outbound Collect (sometimes referred to as Collect) is a shipment agreement in which the consignee pays for the freight bill of a shipment they receive.
Instructions
Navigate to the quote icon from the toolbar on the left-hand side of your MyCarrier page.
Select the payment term 'Outbound Collect', enter the shipment details, and click 'Select Carrier'.
This will bring you to step 3 of the quote where you can complete the shipment details and select a carrier!
In the bottom right corner, click the 'Select Carrier' drop-down and select a carrier to book with!
Keep in Mind, if you select a carrier that is integrated into your account, the shipment will auto-dispatch. If you select a non-integrated carrier, you will be prompted to manually dispatch and call the carrier to schedule the pickup!
