Creating and using custom tags on the Invoice Table and Invoice Details pages

You can use MyInvoiceHub's custom tags to stay organized in a way that aligns with your business needs. Read on to learn how to create these tags and use them to streamline your invoice and freight audit processes.

Creating and Using Tags on the Invoice Table

On the Invoice Table, tags are now visible in a new column labeled, 'Tags'.

To add a tag to an invoice, select the checkbox in the leftmost column. You can bulk add tags by selecting multiple checkboxes.

Once selected, click the button at the top of the Invoice Table. From this menu, you can select existing tags or create new tags to label your invoice.

Selecting Multiple Tags: If you're selecting multiple tags, all existing tags will populate in the Tags menu.

To add an existing tag, begin typing the name of the tag in the search bar and select the correct tag from the dropdown menu.

To create a new tag, simply type what you'd like the tag to be into the search bar and hit 'Enter/Return' on your keyboard. Your new tag will be added to your tag library.

If you have multiple tags, they may be condensed in your Invoice Table view. Additional tags are indicated by the number chip in the Tags column.

To see these additional tags, hover over the number chip.

Creating and Using Tags on the Invoice Details Page

You can also create or add tags for individual invoices on the Invoice Details page. Click into an invoice and click the icon at the top of the page.

This will pull up a Tags menu.

To find an existing tag, scroll though the dropdown menu or type the desired tag in the search box. Matching results will automatically filter to the top the list.

To create a new tag, simply type in the name of the tag and hit 'Enter/Return' on your keyboard.

Once a tag has been selected or created, a tag chip will appear to the right of the carrier name.

Removing a Tag

To remove a tag, click the 'x' on the tag you'd like to remove. If the tag does not existing on another invoice, removing the tag will also delete the tag.
