Shipping FAQs

How do I resume a quote I have not completed?

To resume an unfinished quote, navigate to your Quote History page and find the saved quote. Hover over the quote, and click the three dots on the far right to open!

How do I update my shipping hours?

In order to update your shipping hours, you need to edit the saved location. Select the gear icon in the top right corner and go to "My Locations". Here you can click the pencil icon to update the location details. Don't forget to click save in the bottom right corner to capture the changes made!

How do I track my shipments?

You can track your shipments from both the calendar page and the shipments page!

For an overview of all your booked shipments, use the calendar page. Shipments will be placed on the pickup date once booked and moved to the estimated delivery date once picked up. The calendar is color coordinated to help you better understand what step of shipping process your shipments are in.

For a deep dive into where exactly a particular shipment is, open the shipment from your shipments page and click "View Tracking History". This drop-down will provide a detailed summary with time stamps.

How do I cancel a shipment?

Navigate to your Shipments Page and open the shipment that needs to be cancelled by clicking on the BOL number. You must call the carrier directly and confirm the cancellation before making any changes in MyCarrier. The carrier contact info is provided to you in the shipments page.

Once the cancellation has ben confirmed with the carrier, click the "Cancel Shipment" button in MyCarrier and the shipment will be removed!

How do I edit a shipment?

A shipment can only be edited before it has been picked up!

Navigate to the shipments page and open the shipment that needs to be edited by clicking on the BOL number. Click the "Edit Shipment" button and review the "Quote Details" page. Make any edits needed and select "Update Shipment". Review the details on the "Confirm and Dispatch" page and select "Confirm and Proceed" to update the BOL. You must call the carrier directly to inform them of any changes. The carrier contact info is provided to you in the shipments page.

Keep in mind, the shipper information cannot be updated as well as the City, State or Zip for the Consignee. Any Guaranteed shipment or shipments with additional Insurance, cannot be edited. In these cases, the shipment can be canceled and rebooked!

Full Value Cargo Insurance FAQs

How do I insure my shipments?

Insurance can be added in quote process and from the shipments page after booking. Just look for the "Add Full Value Coverage" button and enter your cargo value!

Payment is always captured after dispatch and you can choose to pay by credit card or invoice.

How do I void insurance?

Cancelling the shipment in MyCarrier will void the insurance. Make sure to call the carrier to inform them of the cancelled shipment and then click the "Cancel Shipment" button in MyCarrier to void insurance and remove the shipment from MyCarrier. What is the insurance deductible?

The deductible is based on the declared value for coverage. In the event of a total loss, the deductible will be applied to the declared value or the repair cost.

A. $0 deductible for shipments when the Total insured Value is from $0 - $9,999.99

B. $500.00 deductible for shipments when the Total insured Value is from $10,000.00 - $24,999.99

C. $1,00.00 deductible for shipments when the Total insured Value is from $25,00.00 - $99,999.99

D. 2% of the declared limit of liability for shipments when the Total insured Value is from $100,00.00 - $250,000.00

What items are uninsurable?

  • Cash and Financial Instruments: Documents, negotiable, documents or instruments, monies of every description, securities, bonds, bullion, stamps, credit and debit cards including telephone calling cards

  • Temperature Controlled products: Pharmaceuticals (other than FDA approved, over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, which are not excluded), nutraceuticals (other than FDA approved over the counter nutraceuticals which are not excluded), narcotics/narcotic based substances, including, but not limited to Marijuana, CBD, THC

  • Luxury Goods: Furs, precious stones, jewellery, high-value watches, perfumes, antiques and art, tobacco or tobacco products

  • Tech Goods: Digital cameras, microchips, motherboards and/or memory of any kind which is not part of a complete system, mobile telephone components, parts and accessories, digital camera photo sticks.

  • Live animals/plants: Living creatures and life forms of any type (other than livestock and flowers which are not excluded)

  • Other: Satellites, nuclear fuel, explosives, firearms, ammunition

How do I upload my company logo?

Uploading your company logo will personalize your shipments by printing your logo to your BOL and Labels! Your logo will also be displayed in the top left corner when logged in to your MyCarrier account.
